The Rolex Spinoff Is Confirmed!

Amazon Prime launched its catalog for 2024 and beyond with great fanfare. The event was attended by a large number of celebrities, irrespective of region.

Tamil superstar Suriya Sivakumar took advantage of this occasion to promote his upcoming movie ‘Kanguva’, whose OTT rights have been secured by Amazon Prime.

However, not many were prepared for the upcoming surprise. Varun Dhawan asked Suriya if a spinoff on Rolex could be made. Guess what? Suriya said yes to it! He also revealed that his much-awaited project with Sudha Kongara, titled ‘Suriya 43’, is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Despite ‘Vikram’ revolving around Kamal Haasan, it was a seven-minute cameo by Suriya as Rolex, that stole all the spotlight. It’s been almost 2 years, and yet every movie buff demands a spinoff on Rolex from Lokesh Kanagaraj [the creator of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe aka Lokiverse].

Suriya is currently focusing on the release of the multilingual ‘Kanguva’, which also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in lead roles. The film was to be released in April itself, but post-production work has delayed the release to the end of 2024.
