Chidambaram Railway Gate is the upcoming movie scripted and directed by Sivapavalan. The film deals with the real-life incidents that happened in 1980. The film will showcase the love, friendship, betrayal and enmity that happen in the life of two friends. Actress Rekha plays a main role in the film. Master " Mahendran" and Anbu Mayilsamy play the heroes. “Aegantham” heroine “ Neeraja” pairs Anbu and Gayathri plays Mahendran’s pair. Besides these stars, the film will also have Lollu Sabha Manohar, Bala Saravanan and Super Subbarayan. Crown Pictures produces the film. R Velu cranks the camera. Karthik Raja composes the music. A huge set had been erected as Chidambaram Railway Station. The shooting started in Chennai and it will continue in Chidambaram, Seerkazhi, Kumbakonam and Mayiladuthurai.
