Reduction In GST! Mersal Effect?

The GST Council meeting was held today. It is said that the council has decided to reduce the GST for more than 177 products including the textiles. It is heard that the textile materials that are charged 18% GST will be charged 5%. Tractors that are used for the agriculture are being charged the GST of 28% and it would be charged 18%. Similarly, the brick and its products will also be charged less. The nutritious flour that has been given under the Integrated Child Development Service Scheme will be charged 5% of GST. The tax on infrastructure works for storage of the produce is reduced to 12%.
