starrer, “Wagah” says that she feels excited to make her debut in Tamil.
Although the film has received mixed reviews, Ranya feels that her career has started well in Tamil. "I have been receiving appreciation for my work and moreover, I am pretty happy to make my debut with a performance-oriented role. I feel that Wagah has given me a good start in Kollywood," says the slender beauty.
The actress also said, "I am from Mumbai and when I told my friends that I was doing a Tamil film, they all were excited. Best films, technicians and directors are from Kollywood. I have watched a few Tamil films and Mani Ratnam is my favorite filmmaker. He is unique in portraying romance on screen. I also have a soft corner for such films."
