The Lady Superstar “Nayanthara” has been in the film industry for the past 15 years. She started her career as a template heroine and now the star has been very choosy with her roles. Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila released on 17th August 2018. The film directed by “Nelson” has the supporting star cast of Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvannan, RS Shivaji, Jacqueline Fernandas, “Saravanan,” Naan Kadavul “Rajendran,” Hareesh Peradi and Aranthangi Nisha. The film that started with a huge first-day collection of Rs 3.5 crores, had managed to earn Rs 10 crore in its opening weekend at the box office. The film had no negative reviews so far and it is the highest box office collector for a women-centric theme, so far. Nayanthara has a huge fan base and hence the actress has been selective with the roles that would impress her fans. Nayan played the drug peddler in Kolamaavu Kokila and received appreciation from the audiences for her expressions and body language.
