,” cinematographer –turned director. Now, the delayed film of Vijay Sethupathi, “Mellisai” has been renamed as Puriyaadha Pudhir. An old movie of the same name, directed by “K S Ravikumar" had been a super hit in 1990. Vijay Sethupathi film is distributed by JSK Satish Kumar. Mellisai is the thriller and suspense film and the director Ranjit Jeyakodi has maintained it till the climax, says Satish. After watching the film, he called upon the director and the producer and had a discussion regarding the title. Then, the team contacted “R B Choudary,” who produced the 1990 film and requested the title, which he granted them at once. They had also informed it to Ravikumar, the director of the old movie, about the title usage.
