Mammootty Introduces Transgender Actor!

“Mammootty,” the Mega Star has been busy with multiple projects and his unique roles are challenging the new generation actors. He has been currently shooting the Telugu film, “Yatra,” a biopic of the Andhra Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. Now, “Peranbu,” a Tamil and Malayalam bilingual film directed by Ram Subramaniam is getting ready to hit the screens. The film has “Anjali,” Anjali Ameer, Baby Sadhana and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the star cast. Anjali Ameer is a transgender actor. It is heard that Anjali Ameer paired Mammootty in this film, where he plays a car driver. Even before it hits the screens, the film had been screened in the International Festivals including the Rotterdam Film Fest and Shanghai Film Fest. It is Mammootty, who introduced Anjali Ameer to Ram. Mammookka met her in a TV Program. As Peranbu story needed one such character, Mammootty introduced her to director Ram and he accepted Mammookka’s suggestion instantly.
