After certain production issues, the film had faced a title issue. The titled had been taken from the veteran scriptwriter late Sujatha’s novel and the person who holds the novel’s rights claimed the title. The issues seem to have been settling gradually and the Nayanthara entertainer would releases, soon. This is the only woman-centric film, she has on her hands now and the rest are the biggie ventures with top heroes in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. Kolaiyuthir Kaalam will be released by Star Polaris LLP.
