” is one among the best disciples of “K. Balachander,” the versatile director. KB had written a script and had planned to direct it. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2014. Now, his disciple Samuthirakani wanted to direct the final script of his mentor. It is heard that besides directing the film, Samuthirakani will be acting in it. He is expecting some producers to co-produce the film along with him. A source close to KB and Samuthirakani said that the veteran director finalized the script and had asked Samuthirakani to associate him with his project which deals with children. It is also heard that KB had decided the cast too. When he was about to start the project, KB’s son Kailasam passed away suddenly which broke him and he wasn’t able to take up the project again.
