Kamal’s Trichy Meeting Banned???

Kamal Haasan, who started his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam on 21st February in Madurai, planned to host a grand meeting in Trichy. The latest report says that the Trichy Police Commissioner ordered not to host any meeting or protest in Trichy from 3rd April to 18th April. This has created a stir and Kamal fans see this as a purposely planned ban to Kamal’s meeting. Kamal Haasan has been meeting the public at regular intervals through the public meetings. He had been interacting with the public and hearing their issues. Recently, he visited Thoothukudi and participated in the protest by the public. Kamal insisted the government take steps to shut the copper factory Sterlite that releases hazardous substance, which affects the health of the people. Kamal was supposed to go to Trichy in Vaigai Express. It should be noted that a petition was already filed against Kamal to stop his train travel, which might disturb the public.
