, the actor cum Party President of Makkal Neehi Maiam, posted on his Twitter that while he was on his way to distribute the relief materials, the Ammayappan, Ammapettai and Kottur people had been blocking the road. When he and his people asked if they want any food, they replied that they have food but not the power supply. They paved the way for the vehicles and asked Kamal to give the food materials to the needy. Kamal feels that they are not the poor but the people with nobility. This is what Kamal posted, “அம்மையப்பன்,அம்மாபேட்டை, கோட்டூர் மக்கள்,கோபத்தில் சாலைமறியலில் ஈடுபட்டிருந்தபொழுது உணவுப்பொருட்கள் கொண்டு சென்ற எங்களிடம்,எங்களுக்கு உணவு இருக்கிறது, மின்சாரம்தான் இல்லை என்று பெருந்தன்மையாக வழிவிட்டது தமிழனாக என்னை பெருமைப்படவைத்தது. இவர்களா ஏழைகள்? பெருந்தன்மைச் செல்வந்தர்கள்.”
