The film that is made in a budget of less than Rs 5 crores will be a direct OTT release. As the lockdown gets extended, there is no possibility of releasing the film within a month in theaters. Instead of locking the funds, the production banner had decided to release the movie online, say the sources. Although it might minimize their profits, if not released in theaters, the film might attract the audience to watch it online during this lockdown. It is heard that the film might be streamed on Amazon Prime in the first week of May. However, we have to wait for the makers to confirm it.
