and producer Suresh were to make the film Vasanthakumaran together. But there were problems between Vijay Sethupathi and Suresh and so the film, which was to start in 2012, was shelved. But now it appears that this problem between actor and producer has been solved, and they are doing a new film together titled Dharmadurai.
Director Anand Kumaresan tweeted on his Twitter page, “ If the problem between actor Vijay Sethupathi and producer Suresh has been solved, then why have they not start Vasanthakumaran, for which I was signed on as director in 2012? How can they start a new film, Dharmadurai instead? No one has informed me, even for courtesy’s sake. I tried to reach them, but am not satisfied with their answers. My 12-year career as a film-maker is at stake”.
On hearing about this outburst of Director Anand Kumaresan, the producer has said that he will soon issue an official press release in this regard.
