Jiiva Joins Vijay Sethupathi Director!

“Jiiva,” who has been waiting for the release of “Gypsy,” “Gorilla” and “Kee,” has signed doing a film under the direction of Rathina Siva. Rathina Siva made his debut as a director with Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon movie, “Rekka.” The yet to be titled Rathina Siva and Jiiva film will be produced by Isari Ganesh’s Vels Film International. Touted to be an action thriller flick, the film is set against the backdrop of a village in Maayavaram. The film is based on the real-life incidents and it will have friendship as one among the themes. The film will have the music composition of “D Imman,” Prasanna Kumar will crank the camera and Kishore will edit the film. Ganesh is the stunt choreographer. The shooting will start rolling from tomorrow in Chennai. The heroine selection is on and a special announcement will be made soon. The director is jubilant, as Jiiva nodded at once he narrated the script and also the producer had given him full freedom. Isari Ganesh has a few films on his hands including RJ Balaji starrer “LKG,” and Jayam Ravi movie.
