Is Dhanush’s Kodi Similar To Padaiyappa?

Rumours are rife that “Kodi,” the upcoming film of “Dhanush” is similar to that of Superstar “Rajinikanth” starrer, “Padaiyappa.” Although both the stories are different, it is heard that Trisha Krishnan, who plays the female lead in Kodi will play the role similar to that of Ramya Krishnan in “Padaiyappa.” In Rajini’s Padaiyappa, Ramya’s Neelambari role loved Rajini deeply in the first half and took a dig at him in the second half. Trisha’s role is similar to that of Neelambari, says a report. However, we have to check it with the team. “Kodi” is a political film in which Dhanush and Trisha play politicians. Anupama Parameshwaran of “Premam” fame plays the second heroine in the movie. Kodi marks the debut film of Anupama and “S A Chandrasekhar” plays Dhanush’s father.
