International Dance Day Is Celebrated Today!
Dance is the only art to express varieties of emotions. India is popular for a lot of dance forms and each of the states has its own traditional dance. Bharatanatyam is considered as a national dance form of India. With this special classical dance form, one can control the whole body and mind. In fact, it is one among the top dance forms of the world. Today is the International Dance Day. International Dance Council, an NGO partner of UNESCO, introduced the International Dance Day on 29th April 1982. Today is the birthday of Jean - Georges Noverre, a French ballet master. The main motto of the International Dance Day is to attract the people to get connected with dance. Dance can relieve stress, keeps the body fit and rejuvenated and moreover it is a good entertainer.
