“Taramani,” the film that has been successfully running in the theaters is directed by Ram Subramaniam. The film has Andrea Jeremiah, “Anjali,” Azhagam Perumal and debutant Vasanth Ravi in the lead roles. When the producer announced that the film would be releasing on 11th August, director Ram was afraid, as Ajith Kumar starrer, “Vivegam” was supposed to release on that date. Ram thought that there might be a theater scarcity, when, it releases on the same day with Vivegam. Later the heroine Andrea said that as both the scripts are different genres, they wouldn’t have any issue to release the film. However, to their luck, Vivegam release got postponed and the film would be released on 24th August. So, far Taramani has collected Rs. 3.5 crore at the box office.
