Vijayakanth Heroine Gets Rs. 40 Lakhs For Four Scenes!

Vani Viswanath, who made her debut in Tamil in the year 1986 in Mannukkul Vairam with Sivaji Ganesan, has played in a couple of films with Captain “Vijayakanth.” She had been the action queen in the Malayalam Film Industry. Vani is popular in all the south Indian languages. Vani Viswanath had played a lot of films as a cop and impressed the people. Besides playing in cinema, she had played a couple of TV Series; one in Tamil and another in Malayalam. She was last seen in a Telugu film titled Jaya Janaki Nayaka. In this film, she grabbed Rs. 40 Lakhs as her remuneration. She just appeared in four scenes. Even the top heroines would not get paid this much amount for doing cameos. The director said that as the role is strong, they have paid Vani, a lump sum. It is to be noted that the film has Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role.
