” has been creating numerous records right from the release. The film has collected a whopping amount of Rs. 223 Crore in its pre-release business. Till now, it has collected a massive amount of Rs. 320 Crores and has joined the 300 Crore club as the first Tamil movie. The film is produced on a budget of Rs. 110 Crores. In this amount, Rs. 35 Crore is said to be the remuneration of Rajini. Besides this, the actor will be receiving a profit share in the box office. If the film fails, he will return the salary and this is the method he follows for few years. As per the calculation, he will be getting Rs. 45 Crores as his profit share, along with the remuneration of Rs. 35 Cr. On the whole, he will be getting Rs. 80 Crore as his payment for a single film.
