The Tamilnadu government opened the TASMAC shops during the corona crisis. The alcohol drinkers rushed to the shops and they didn’t maintain social distancing and even didn’t wear the safety masks. Following this, many people filed a petition to the Madras High Court to shut the TASMAC Shops.
After checking the evidence, the Madras High Court ordered to close the TASMAC and suggested online sale.
