Rajalakshmi Parthasarathy, the wife of late Sri YG Parthasarathy and the mother of the popular theater and silver screen artist, “Y G Mahendra,” passed away today due to cardiac arrest. She had been admitted to the Apollo Hospitals in the Greams Road, Chennai due to some discomfort. Y G Mahendra stated that his mother suffered respiratory issues. She was 93. Today, she had a severe cardiac arrest and her body couldn’t recuperate to the medications. Rajalakshmi Parthasarathy is a great educationalist. She is the founder of PSBB Group of Institutions. She survived with two sons, YG Mahendra and YG Rajendran. Her mortal remains will be kept at Padmaseshadri School/Bharat Kalachar, Thirumalai Pillai Road, T Nagar for the public homage. The cremation will be held at 4 pm tomorrow in Besant Nagar. May her soul rest in peace! Our deepest condolences to her family, friends and relatives, who miss her!
