Shalini has also started her career as a producer; her first production Daas Dev released in the year 2018, and has worked as an associate producer in the movie. She has worked for seven movies till now, and is also filming for some films presently. She entered the industry in the year 2017, with the cinema Arjun Reddy. Due to her marvelous and appreciable acting skills, she is recently working for more than three films now. She has a charming and bold personality. Shalini was born on September 23rd, 1993, and belongs to Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. She comes from a family belonging to an amusing culture. Her father is a government employee, and her mother is a homemaker. She completed her graduation from Global Engineering College.

She started doing theatre in the second year of her engineering. Her father insisted her to complete her studies before she takes up acting as her career. After she finished her graduation, she was approached by Sandeep Reddy with the script of Arjun Reddy. She played the role of Preethi Shetty in Arjun Reddy. She herself did the dubbing for the movie though she is not very fluent with the Tamil language. The movie depicts the story of Arjun Reddy Deshmukh (Deverakonda) who is a surgeon bearing with anger management issues. Arjun is on a self-damaging track after his girlfriend Preethi Shetty gets married; the movie emphases on his drop and then his revival. Arjun Reddy was partly encouraged by Vanga's lifespan as a physiotherapy student. He worked on the writing for two years, and it took him four to five years for the picture to appear.

Shooting places include Mangalore, Dehradun, and New Delhi; shooting also took place in Italy. Radhan and Harshvardhan Rameshwar composed the sound and score. In the same year, she also worked in a Telugu film Mahanati, where she played the role of Susheela. In the year 2018, she worked for the movies 100% Kadhal which is a Tamil film. She is also working with the two Telugu movies Gorilla and NKR 16.
