Madhavan’s Next Venture To Release In This Slot?

R Madhavan is all set with his next production.

The first look for the much awaited GDN was released yesterday. The movie showed Madhavan as a bald, bespectacled man, working on some innovative product. GDN is based on the life and the legacy of G Doraiswamy Naidu, a self taught engineer who is also known as the Edison of India.

GDN will release in the first half of 2026, as promised by the makers of the movie. This is Madhavan’s second major movie as a producer, after he invested his heart and soul into the 2022 space drama movie Rocketry- The Nambi Effect. The trilingual movie also marked Madhavan’s debut as a director, and it not only succeeded commercially at the box office, but also earned Madhavan a National Award for Best Film.

GDN will be directed by actor cum filmmaker Krishnakumar Ramkumar. The movie also stars Priyamani, Dushara Vijayan, Sathyaraj etc. in prominent roles.
