Director Balachander’s Editor Becomes A Director With Laddu!

“Laddu” is a Tamil and Malayalam bilingual film directed by Vajravel Anand, a former editor to the maverick director “K Balachander.” The film will is produced by Amutha Anand in association with P Radhakrishnan of Irish Productions. Guna Babu plays the lead role. He had played character roles in the films including “Tamizh Padam 2,” “Kaali,” Irumbu Thirai and Theeran Adhigaram Ondru. He will also be seen in Kedi alias Karuppu Durai, Panjaraasharam and Super Duper in the lead roles. Swetha plays the female lead. Vishveshawaran and Vigneshwaran play the child artists. The film is about how a father manages to care for his twin children after the kids lose their mother. After a simple pooja, the shooting started today. The shooting will be wrapped up in a single schedule of 35 days. Rishal Sai composed the music and Chidambaram cranked the camera.
