Vivek posted on his Twitter page the photos of him getting the pen from Pushpa Kandaswamy and captioned, “யாருடைய எழுத்துக்களைப் படித்தும் படமாகப் பார்த்தும் பரவசம் அடைந்து திரைத்துறைக்கு வந்தேனோ, அவர் எழுத உபயோகித்த பேனாவே எனக்கு கிடைத்தது ... பரிசு அல்ல... வரம்! அன்போடு அளித்த புஷ்பா கந்தசாமி அவர்களுக்கு என் இதய நன்றிகள்.” Thanks to KB Sir, for introducing one of the finest actors in Kollywood.
