Did Kaali Impress The Audiences?

“Kaali,” the highly expected film of Vijay Antony released yesterday. The film directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi received mixed reviews for its plot. However, the director has been appreciated for presenting the film in a different perspective. Usually, the mystery thriller films will be in the whodunit format, but Kiruthiga has followed the same format for the action thriller. Vijay Antony has chosen the usual role and he has done nothing new in this film. However, his music receives appreciation. Although the film has four heroines including “Anjali,” “Sunaina,” Amritha Iyer and Shipa Manjunath, none has got a significant role. Yogi Babu is the only relief in the film, said the viewers. His oneliners are the attraction in the film. The cinematography by “Richard M Nathan” is also appreciable. Vijay Antony will be coming with Thimiru Pidichavan and “Kolaigaran.”
