Chandrayaan 2 had been getting ready for its launch for more than a year and it is launched at 2:43 pm on 22nd July 2019, today. It is the second lunar exploration mission by India after Chandrayaan 1. ISRO launched the satellite by a Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III. The Chandrayaan has three parts including Lunar Orbiter, Lander and Rover. It was initially planned to get launched on 14th July. But, the countdown was stopped on the day of launch, due to some technical errors. Now, the errors are solved and the highly expected Moon Craft had been launched in the space.
Chandrayaan 2 will research for the abundance of water in the Moon. Orbiter and Lander will fly and rover will do the chemical analysis and will send details at the set intervals. Let, it be a successful project and bring India, pride!
