Kamal Haasan was obviously impressed by Asha’s performance that he instantly signed the actress for a role in his next film, Thoongavanam. 'Rajesh M Selva', the director of Kamal’s upcoming flick, revealed that Asha played a pivotal role as the wife of Kamal. Asha made her debut in the Malayalam film, Friday in year 2012. In the very short span, she already proven her mettle and even got the chance to work with one of India’s top actors.
