You might have seen films with breathtaking sequences, mighty action, immense stardom, cupid love stories but the films which receive cult status with just their music are quite rare in the Indian industry. Sure, you can find movies in foreign languages based on musical performances and stuff like that, but in our case, the movie still lives on in the songs and rhythms; such is its power.
So, now let us see some movies, which might be classy and have elements which pertain to the stuff you just read above.
So, let’s get started.
First on our list is a romantic movie by ‘
Bommarillu Bhaskar’’, which came out in 2010 and stars ‘
Ram Charan’ and ‘
Genelia DSouza’ in the leads. Despite being a flop at the box office, it was a strong contender with regards to music, all thanks to its music director ‘
Harris Jayaraj’. It was the best album of that year.

A 2014 family movie by '

Akkineni Nageswara Rao’ in the climax and in the lyrics as well.
An experimental film under the writings of the director, ‘
Sukumar’ and has ‘
Devi Sri Prasad’ at the helm for music direction and his efforts have turned out so well that the songs and lyrics became an instant hit amongst listeners and added another feather to Devi’s cap.
A psychological triangular love story made by Sukumar and stars ‘
Allu Arjun’ and ‘
Kajal Aggarwal’ in the key roles. Initially, perceived as a sequel to the blockbuster “
Arya”, it did little to improve the stardom and benchmark set by it. When all seemed lost, the film’s music came to the rescue and took it to a whole new level, helping it earn a lot of applause and ushered a new era of music with elements of pop, rock and punk.
A 2012 film by ‘
Harish Shankar’ and an extraordinary comeback for the actor ‘
Pawan Kalyan’ who had been off the hit film scene for a long time and he improved the film both in the script and music in such a way that it spawned an immediate blockbuster.
A 2008 action film by ‘
Trivikram Srinivas’ starring ‘Pawan Kalyan’ and ‘
Ileana D Cruz’ in the key roles and though it was mediocre with regards to script quality, it had an immense amount of pompous music to groove to and makes for a good party mix.
