Pankaj Kapur is an Indian actor who works in films, television, and theatre. He is also a film director, story writer, and screenwriter. He was born and brought up in Ludhiana, Punjab. His date of birth is May 29, 1954. He is a National School of Drama alumnus. He was married to Neelima Azeem (1979-1984). Famous actor, Shahid Kapoor is their son. He is presently married to actress, Supriya Pathak. He is famous for his role in the Doordarshan’s detective serial, Karamchand (1985). His debut film was Arohan (1982). He also appeared in the English film, Gandhi (1982). He played the character of Pyarelal Nayer (Gandhiji’s Assistant ). 1. Raakh
