In May 2012, the King of Bollywood was banned for 5 years from entering the Wankhede stadium by the Mumbai Cricket Association officials. At one of the IPL matches of Kolkata Knight Riders, SRK’s team, the Baadshah as well as his bodyguards misbehaved with the officials and physically assaulted and abused them. When the brawl turned very ugly, the police were called on spot and MCA officials filed a case against Shah Rukh Khan. In 2015, the stadium authorities lifted the ban after 3 years. Salman Khan has always been involved in controversies every now and then. In 2002, he was arrested for a rash driving case where he rammed his car onto the pavilion. One person died and 3 people were injured. In May 2015, he was found guilty of all charges but was acquitted of all charges in Dec 2015, due to lack of evidence. This case tarnished his image completely. Almost the whole country was divided on the issue whether he should be punished as a common man or he should be given some extra benefits. It led to questioning of the Indian Judiciary System. He even opened a store called BEING HUMAN to be a philanthropist.

5. Blackbuck Hunting Case - Salman Khan

In 2006, ‘Bhaijjan’ was sentenced to one year in jail for hunting of the Chinkara (an endangered species).The sentence was stayed after appeal in a higher court. Soon, he was acquitted of all the charges, but in October 2016, the Rajasthan government decided to make an appeal against the acquittal in the Supreme Court. According to the driver, who is a key witness in this case, he allegedly saw the superstar shooting the Chinkara. He said that he has been threatened every time he tried to go to the court and that he has been living in constant fear and left Jodhpur after the incident.
