No Delay This Time In ‘Kesari Chapter 2’

After multiple delays, the much awaited biopic on the Jallianwala Bagh trials will finally hit the theaters.

Directed by debutante Karan Singh Tyagi Bio coming soon... >> Read More... , this is based on the novel ‘The Case that Shook the Empire’ by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The movie will hit the silver screens on 18 April, more than a week after Sunny Deol’s ‘JAAT’. The movie is a spiritual sequel of the 2019 movie ‘Kesari’, which was based on the Battle of Saragarhi that was fought by the 36^th Sikhs Regiment of the British Indian Army in 1897.

Though he lost the trial, and was forced to cough up £ 7500 for ‘defaming’ Michael O’Dwyer, the brains behind the massacre, Sankaran Nair gained respect for not bowing down in front of the Empire. O’Dwyer was later avenged when Udham Singh, one of the witnesses of the massacre, shot him dead 21 years later in London.
