The movie starts with Hrithik , Abhay and Farhaan preparing for their trip and shows how different the three individuals are in terms of their daily routine.
The opening scene where RK is involved in a fight, escapes from it, boards a bus, reaches the stadium amidst his crazy fans, splashes some water on his face and starts singing. That very Moment Bollywood had its own superstar. A star was born and the rest as we say is history.
A gripping start to an awesome movie where the cops turn out to be thieves. Special 26 was one of the best movies with great actors of the industry.

Perhaps the best opening scene of the year gone by.
