This film rotates around a man named Vijay, a former Navy officer, who is haunted by his cowardly and humiliating past. Later on, he starts to work in a coal mine where he finds himself in a drama that leads to a flooding of the mine which endangers the lives of hundreds of workers.
This is an interesting film about a biological weapon that could potentially decimate millions of people. It involves a host of individuals but mostly a research scientist who invented the virus but ensured it did not fall into the hands of a terrorist, with the help of a divine intervention in the form of a tsunami.
A Prayer For Rain: It’s about a nuclear plant that compromises workers’ and plant’s safety because of the decline in revenue in the sales of pesticides. Eventually, a worker is killed, but the officials state that negligence on the part of the worker was the cause of the accident. As time passes, the plant is shut down, but the chemical gets out despite precautions. Many people suffer because of the release of the chemical into the public.
