Ravi K. Tripathi

Ravi K. Tripathi is an Indian composer, playback singer, and music director who was born on February 4th. He participated in the television music reality show Indian Idol season 2. Ravi was the only Indian singer who got invited to perform and represent India at the closing ceremony of Asian games in 2010, in China.

In 2005, Ravi participated in the second season of music reality show Indian Idol and reached the top finalist. Ravi hosted the singing reality show Close Up Performer on Doordarshan in 2008. His debut album, Baatein, got released on 26 February 2009, by Times Music, which received a good response.

In the same year, he started his career in Bollywood with the song India Se Aaya Tera Dost from Bollywood movie Chandni Chowk to China. In 2010, Ravi was invited to perform at the closing ceremony of Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. Ravi’s second album Sri Siddhivinayak Morya got released in the same year by Worldwide Records. He also gave his voice to some TV shows including Ramayan.
