Ramachari Komanduri is a legendary Indian playback singer and music composer. He is the founder of Little Musicians Academy, the home to many evolving playback singers in Tollywood. Ramachari Komanduri was born on 22nd January 1965 in Shivampet village in Medak district in Telangana to Komanduri Krishnamachary and Yashodamma. The music knowledge in him is imparted way back to his childhood days when he accompanied his father to Bhajans and Harikatha. He started singing and gradually fell in love with music. He did his schooling at Government School in Shivampet. After his tenth class, he moved to Hyderabad to make a future in singing. When he was 15, he joined a music college in Hyderabad and started taking music seriously.

Subsequently, he continued his intermediate education and Bachelor’s degree in Arts. Then, Ramachari Komanduri pursued his B.Ed. from Osmania University. While attending college, he used to work as a part-time music teacher and as a proofreader in a printing press. Later, he took up the job as a music teacher in All Saints High School. He also performed with the band Krishna Neeraj. Before venturing into films, Ramachari Komanduri worked in Doordarshan and Akashvani. He took music lessons from Kumari Oruganti Leelavathi and Shri P.V.Sai Babu. Ramachari Komanduri also participated in Bala Vinodam, Lalitha Sangeetham, and many other shows. He experienced the break of his career when he took part in the reality singing show Padutha Theeyaga Series 1, hosted by S.P.Balasubrahmanyam, in 1996.

With his constant effort and soulful singing, he became one of the four final contenders for the title. In the finale, he emerged as the Runner-up in the Men category. Following the win, Ramachari Komanduri became so busy with many projects. He got out in the film industry as a singer in the film Bala Ramayanam. He worked as a mentor for many television shows as well. To help the students who can’t afford to have proper musical guidance, he founded the institute Little Musicians Academy in 1998 to provide musical knowledge to kids below eighteen age free of cost. He has raised many talented singers from his institution. Ramachari Komanduri is married to Sujatha Dhawala, and the couple has a son Saketh and a daughter Sony, playback singers in Tollywood.
