Suresh Wadkar

Suresh Ishwar Wadkar is a well-known playback singer. He sings in Hindi, Marathi, Bhojpuri and Konkani too. He has sung some devotional songs in many Indian languages. Though groomed for Indian classical music, He participated in the Sur-Singer competition in 1976 despite being a trained singer in Indian Classical Music. He not only did win the competition but also was offered the song,”Seene Mein Jalan” from one of the judges and music composers, Jaidev.
