In a recent interview, Sara Arjun revealed how excited she is for the crime thriller. Directed by Gunasekhar, the movie was originally intended to be the actress’ debut role as an adult actor, after having worked in multiple films as a child artist.

Dhurandhar is currently the fourth highest grossing film in the history of Indian cinema, having earned more than 1000 crores in gross domestic collections, and 1300 crores in terms of gross worldwide collections. The sequel will release in multiple languages across India on Gudi Padwa, i.e. March 19, making it an official clash with Yash’s upcoming venture, TOXIC: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups.
