Srividya is a famous television serial and film actress. She was born in Chennai in an orthodox Brahmin family, where her debut began as a child artist on the big screen in movies like “Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen” and “Ennavale”. She also played a supporting role in the movie “Jillunu Oru Kaadhal”. When Srividya entered the screen rolling her big eyes, the TRP went up. But in real life, Srividya is a very innocent girl. She works twelve days a month for her serials and eight days for her studies, the Masters of Business Administration. On some days, she meets the promotions company and on the remaining days, she spends time with her family. They usually go to the Temple together. She has mostly portrayed innocent characters in serials. For instance, at the beginning of the Serial, Thendral, her role is that of a homely and innocent girl.

She once said in an interview that an old woman told her not to torture the poor and the innocent character of Thulasi in Thendral. Even at shopping malls, she has been yelled at by some people for her role as a psychotic girl in the serial. She recently married a relative of hers and after a short hiatus, she resumed performing in serials.
