Dhanush Nayanar

Dhanush Nayanar started his career doing an advertisement for Medimix. He was the first child of his parents, Dr. Sunil and Rajani. Dhanish was an average performer in academics. He never knew that one day he would make an excellent career as a sound effects editor and get work for a great movie like Kabali. Firstly, Dhanush Nayanar did BSc. in Visual Communication from Hindustan College, Coimbatore and later finished his studies as Sound Engineer from LV Prasad Film and TV Academy, Chennai. He worked under an efficient sound engineer Mr. Raja Krishnan as a trainee.

Dhanush also worked as an Assistant Sound Editor for many Malayalam and Tamil movies like She-taxi, Oru Second Class Yathara, Amar Akbar Antony Click to look into! >> Read More... , Muthugaw and recently worked as Sound Effects Editor in Kabali, which was a big-budget Tamil movie. Dhanush worked with Rajani Kanth only in the dubbing studio. According to him, Rajani is a person with great passion and commitments towards work.

Rasool Pookutty, who is an Oscar Prize winner, turned out to the role-model of his life. It was because of his works that he came to know about a field called Sound Design and Editing, and later started watching videos about the same. Dhanush's words for the budding media professionals are, Don’t waste your life listening to what others say. Just do what you love, and you will get happiness out of it.
