Sanjana Raja

Sanjana Raja is a singer from Kollywood Industry. She was born in Southern California. Until 1988, she lived with her family in Fullerton, California. After that, they moved to Chennai. She did Bachelor’s in economics and studied at Berklee College of Music. After graduation, she worked at the Harry Fox agency as an intern and did many more. She shifted to Los Angeles in 2019. She had an affinity for music from a very young age. She developed an interest in watching those and singing along to the songs. She got tutored in Carnatic and Western music and signed up for training in voice, piano, and music theory.

She gave her first performance at twelve with a full-scale Carnatic band. During her college days, she participated in many Solo competitions, competed in inter-collegiate competitions and won many of them. She was also a part of the Madras musical association. At Berklee college, she got the opportunity to get her hands on various genres of music. There, she became a part of one of the elite Vocalist shows, Singer’s night at the college, and performed with a Balkan choir. She also performed at local concerts and clubs in Chennai. Sanjana works in Digital Services at Sony Music. She made her music debut with the song Maayavalai from the movie ‘ Mei Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ (2019).
