Rajaganapathy is an Indian singer who practices Carnatic music from the age of 3. He was born and brought up in Melur, Madurai. He is well known for his contribution to the reality television program Airtel Super Singer on Vijay TV. First, he was a part of Super Singer Junior season 3, and after that, he came back as a wildcard entry in season 5 on great public demand. Rajaganapathy recorded his first song as a playback singer for director D Imman for the film Podhuvaga En Manasu Thangam. He had also sung for the film Semma, which was composed by G V Prakash Kumar.
At the age of five, Rajaganapahy started learning Carnatic music. Umashankar, one of the disciples of Bombay Sisters, was his first guru. Later, he learned music from AS Murali, one of the disciples of PS Narayanaswami. Rajaganapathy started performing in concerts at a very young age. At the age of eight, he started participating in music competitions and performing in popular Sabhas like Narada Gana Sabha, Music Academy, Mylapore Fine Arts, Indian Fine Arts Society, and RR Sabha. He received the honorary Tanpura Award at the age of 10 from Ariyakudi K.V.Narayanaswami Trust. In 2010, when he was 11, he sang in Papanasam Sivan Rasikar Sangam and received the award. When he was 12, he participated in the Indian Fine Arts Society concert in 2011 and received the award. He received LV Memorial Award from R.R. Sabha, Trichy. He finished nearly 50 concerts when he was just 12. He had sung nearly 300 Kirthis of various legendary composers. As he holds good knowledge in Kalpana Swara and other ragas, he got the ability to sing non-stop any Aalapanas when he was just 10, and that’s why he received appreciation from the musical legends TK Govinda Rao and TN Sesha Gopalan. He received more than 170 first prizes in the singing competitions. Rajaganapathy composed a single named Kadhal Version 1.0 that featured Diwakar.
In 2024, Rajaganapathy appeared on Super Singer Season 10 on Vijay TV and gave a special performance. The same year, he appeared on Super Singer Juniors. He also crooned a devotional song Maamavasadhaa Jananee, for which Guruprasad Subramanian composed the music. He also participated in a musical concert with “
