Srikanth Devarajan

Srikanth Devarajan is a music composer and director of an Indian origin. He is originally from Chennai, India, and has had a passion for popular and Indian classical music since his school days. Srikanth, also a computer engineer, was an early adopter of using computers for music production in Chennai in the early 1990s. In 1996, he moved to the United States and continued to produce and publish instrumental singles, which topped the Indian charts on MP3.com. He founded Studio1234, a state-of-the-art studio in 2000, and released vocal singles using local Indian talents on his website and MP3.com. His commercial album Mahaakavi was released in 2002, and he began scoring music for short films in 2003, receiving praise from the trigger street community for his background score for the short film Noose. In 2005, he formed the music production company H1Bees Inc with friends Shankar Nagarajan and Srivatsa Srinivasan and released the successful music album H1Bees, featuring playback singers Tippu and G.V.Prakash. His works as a composer include short films Rationem (2016), As You Wish (2005), The Warmer Substitute (2017), and One Soul (2007) among others.
