Uma Bharani

Uma Bharani is an actress in Tamil and Malayalam movies. She is also a dancer and dubbing artist. She was born in Srirangam, Trichy, in 1966. She transferred to Chennai at a young age and completed her schooling there. She has finished her postgraduate degree in economics. She was the daughter of T.R. Latha, who was famous for being a stage actress. Uma Bharani was married to Marudha Bharani in 1990, who is the son of Marudha Kaasi. Marudha Bharani is a scriptwriter; who wrote scripts for more than 1000 movies and serials. Siddharth is the son of Uma Bharani and Marudha Bharani.

She started her career in 1977, and her debut movie is “Aanandam Paramaanandam (Malayalam).” As an actress, she acted in many movies, like Veena Poovu (1983), Mounaragam (1983), Naan Mahaan Alla (1984), Dhavani Kanavugal (1984), Guruji Oru Vaakku (1985), Nandi Veendum Varika (1986), and Uchi Veyil (1990). As an actress, she has done more than ten movies in Tamil and Malayalam for leading and supporting roles. Uma Bharani’s debut movie as a dubbing artist was “Aruvadai Naal (Tamil)” for Pallavi in 1986.
