Mandira Bedi

Mandira Bedi is a well know Indian television presenter, actress, model and fashion designer. Mandira shot to fame with her title role in the television series Shanti, widely considered as Indian television's first ever daily soap.

Mandira Bedi was born in Kolkata to Verinder Singh Bedi and Gita Bedi. She completed her school from Cathedral and John Connon School and completed her graduation in Economics from St. Xavier's College. She is also holds a post-graduate degree in Media.

After Shanti, Mandira Bedia appeared in supporting role in the 1995 Bollywood blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. She played in yet another popular television series Kyunki Saas Bhi Khabhi Bahu Thi. She has also starred in Tamil thriller movie Manmadhan.

She was the contestant and the winner of the first installment of Fear Factor India Fear Factor India – Jo Dar Ghaya So Mar Ghaya is a >> Read More... . She is the only female winner of the show till date. Her movie appearances include Meerabai Not Out and 42 Kms.

Her popularity soared as she gained fame as cricket show anchor. She was named the brand ambassador of the women's cricket team in India. She was also declared the brand ambassador for Satya Paul's cricket signature line of sarees. She also was the brand ambassador for Sony Max from 2004 to 2007.
