Sudhakshina

Sudhakshina is well-known as a South Indian Actress, who works predominantly in Tamil language movies. She was born in Dubai and graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Manipal University. Her parents Shivkumar and Shyamala are logistic entrepreneurs. Sudhakshina is a trained Classical Indian Dancer and well-trained in Bharatanatyam Dancer. She originally belongs to Tamil Nadu. Her debut film was the Tamil movie Thirunthuda Kathal Thiruda (Tamil) or Persiakaran (Malayalam) directed by award-winning Indian director Ashok R. Nath, which released in October 2014. The movie is mostly shot and based in Dubai. Sudhakshina got selected for the part after a stringent process of auditions which were conducted in Dubai.

She feels that she could relate to the fiery nature of her character due to her similar attitude. She also says that her Bharatanatyam helped her with her performance in front of the camera as it involves a lot of use of the eyes and expressions. The 21-year-old actress says that it was a dream come true for her to get cast in an Ashok R. Nath movie. She comments that shooting for the movie was an overwhelming experience because of how new everything was, and she sees it as an opportunity for bigger things in the future. Other than Dancing and Acting, Sudhakshina also shares a passion for cooking. She currently works as a trainee Chef in the International Centre for Culinary Arts in Dubai. She hopes to establish someday her unique restaurant in India.
