Manumika

Manumika is an Indian actress who has worked in Tamil film industry. She is also known as Nandhagi and Manochitra. She debuted with the movie Aval Peyar Thamizharasi in 2010. Her performance in the movie gave her a nomination for the Vijay Award for the category of Best Debut Actress. She was born in Tamil Nadu. She made her appearance in her first movie when she was in college. She met the director Meera Kadhiravan of the movie of Aval Peyar Thamizharasi, in the Kamakshi temple which is in Kancheepuram. Her presence was liked by Meera, and she offered Manumika the lead role in the movie. She was a bit surprised and resisted, but she convinced herself and her parents and started shooting for her first movie. Meera had kept Manumika away from the media and had asked her not to give any interview or media presence. It was during the music launch of the film she made her first appearance in the media.
