After a month and a half, Manochitra threatened her mother saying that she would run away from home and stay in a hostel to persue her dream. Her mother finally gave her consent to work in movies and is now supportive of her decisions.

After her debut, she was offered a few more movies which did not release as they were stuck in the production phase. However, she made a comeback in 2014 in a multi-starrer movie ‘Netru Indru’.
