Jayashree Rao

Jayashree is an Indian actress, popular amongst the regional audience for her work in movies like Kadhal 2 Kalyanam (2014), Pistha (1997), Varam (1989), Anand (1987), Vanna Kanavugal (1987). Mostly known for her predominant involvement in Kollywood movies, dramas, and TV shows in the Tamil language, she has made a comeback in the industry after twenty-five long years.

Born on 10th August 1965 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, she was introduced by the popular screenwriter C.V. Sridhar in the movie Thendrale Ennai Thodu in 1985 opposite to Mohan. In 1988, she tied the knot with a banker based in the United States and settled with him abroad. She has two sons.
