Ammu Abhirami is an Indian actress who has been a part of both Tamil and Telugu movies. She made her acting debut in 2017 with Vijay and
as her medical students in the Tamil movie Bairava. She is known to play a central role in Raatchasan (2018) and Asuran (2019). Her first releases of Ammu Abhirami were En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom (2017) and
Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru
(2017), where she impersonated a supporting character. She starred in
. She then portrayed a high school girl struggling in Razzasan and later played the same role in the Telugu remake of the film, Lakshasdu (2019), along with Veraconda Srinivas and Anupama Parameswaran. Ammu starred in
(2018), playing the murdered innocent girl. In 2019, she starred in the Vetrimaaran drama Asuran (2019), where she starred with Dhanush. Ammu was selected after being nominated by producer S.
